Causeway KTM Ducati Shoot 2

Last week we did our second shoot for Causeway KTM Ducati... but before we get into what the shoot was all about, here are a few shots we took after the shoot of two of our models....

Firstly we had Karissa Gilham who can be found on
http://www.modelmayhem.com/KarissaGilham

and secondly we had Kiara Schoonens...

our third model has been showcased heaps on our site... and is shown in what we think is the winning shot of the day (a blog entry to follow) Alinta Hassen not only modelled but also did the Make up for all of the girls.
More of her make up artistry skills can be seen on http://www.modelmayhem/missPOP
Now to the feature of our photo shoot!
The now famous Desmosedici RR, a limited edition of 1,500 motorcycles, and the Bayliss superbike, a limited edition of just 500 is about to disappear from the showrooms around the world forever.
Ducait have crafted the Desomosedici as a limited edition based on the 2007 MotoGP race bike. It is the first ever, road going MotoGP styled bike to be on offer and the opportunity to wheel this piece of history out of the showroom is almost gone. If you want to catch a glimpse of this incredible machine while you still can, drop into Causeway KTM Ducati in Victoria Park where you will see, on a pedestal in tront of the sale's managers desk, bike #1,461 in classic Ducati team colours.

The Desmosedici RR boasts race ready aerodynamics, 200 hp at 13,800 rpm and features DDA (Ducati Data Analyzer) allowing the owner to download critical information on the bikes performance after every adventure onto the bitumen.
If you want to ride the bike that Tom Cruise and Jay Leno have in their collection go and talk to Dave Schneiker at Causeway KTM Ducati and he will be glad to explain to you why this bike is worth $110,000. (incl on road costs).
The second and even more rare 1098R Bayliss superbike that enjoyes the same eye popping performance and look as the Ducati ridden to victory by Troy Bayliss in the 2008 World Superbike Championship.
The limited edition bikes have been faithfully reproduced right down to Troy's race number incorporated into the stunning paint work, reminiscent of the Australian national flag.
As with all prized collector pieces, the Bayliss comes with its own unique numbered plaque. In addtion to the small plaque that is mounted on the fork clamp, each Bayliss comes with a commemorative desk plaque bearing the engraved signatures of Gabriele Del Torchio the CEO of Ducati Motor Holding and Troy Bayliss Ducati Corse triple World Superbike Champion.
We are sure the $67,000. (incl. on road costs) price tag won't need any explanation, but Dave would be happy to show you the extra exhaust system, with carbon fibre mufflers, that come with the bike for occassions when you head off to the race track to let your Bayliss stretch its legs.
Seen here are just a few of the photos taken at our studio of the bikes and our models....

as well as with Wayne Hosking, owner of both a Desmosedici and Bayliss...

Our 2nd Wicked Gear shoot

We did our second Wicked Gear www.leathertraders.com.au shoot a few weeks ago. This time with a Suzuki Boulavard and models, Alinta Hassen (www.modelmayhem.com/allyPOP ) Amanda Macdonald (www.modelmayhem/AmandaMacdonald ) and Brendan Hardman.

another model portfolio shoot....

We did another model portfolio shoot, this time for a make up artist, Alinta Hassen whose other work can be seen on her Model Mayhem portfolio under at www.modelmayhem.com/missPOP expanding her portfolio as well as the model, Jess, a model from Melbourne whose work can also be seen on Model Mayhem at www.modelmaheym.com/BJBailey .

As you can see, we went from bridal to rock chick!

john & eleanor's wedding

Last weekend we photographed John & Eleanor's wedding at the Joondalup Resort. The weather was perfect and the sun setting over the green made a beautiful backdrop. It's so hard choosing just a few photos to highlight a wedding day... but this is what I came up with

ryan and holly's wedding

Ryan and Holly were married a few weeks ago. It was a 13 hour photography assignment for us starting at the grooms parent's house where Ryan and the boys were getting ready, then over to the brides parent's house where the chaos was definitely exploding with excitement.

We then went to King's Park where the bridal party arrived in shifts...

and then to Caversham House for the ceremony and reception. The day was absolutely perfect!

but it was a late night for us... and for some others as well :)

finally

Well I am finally getting a chance to update the blog.. yet again it has been weeks and weeks. Between commercial shoots, model ports, weddings and some new projects we have in the works we have been very busy. So to start the highlights of the past few weeks off, above are some shots of an aspiring new model named Ben which we took during a portfolio shoot we did for him.
